Sitting in the shadow of Roan Mountain, Painted Hills Farm Bed and Breakfast takes you back to a quieter time. Our 1940s-era farmhouse is near a variety of activities but is also a place where you can enjoy doing nothing at all.

Our unique home offers a private, three-room suite for visitors to experience one of the most beautiful places in the world and is just minutes from the renowned Roan Mountain State Park.

The suite provides a bedroom, living room and dining room, as well as a private bath.

Come enjoy your private front porch where the cool summer breezes are available at no extra charge and the sound of our creek is just outside your window.

In the mornings, you will enjoy a delicious home-cooked breakfast. Many of our breakfast items come from nearby farms, where we get fresh eggs, preserves and other ingredients.

Welcome and evening refreshments are also provided.
